Goal: Learn about doctors/nurses through play while building empathy & curiosity.
Setup Ideas:
Pretend Hospital Corner:
Use toy medical kits (stethoscopes, bandages, syringes without needles).
Add stuffed animal “patients” and doll cots.
Hang the hospital-themed posters you shared!
Costumes & Props:
Lab coats (old shirts), kid-sized scrubs, or DIY doctor/nurse badges.
Clipboards for “check-up charts.”
How to Play (Teacher-Guided):
Step 1: Meet Dr. [Child’s Name].
“Doctors and nurses help sick people feel better. Let’s be healers today!”
Step 2: Check-Up Time.
Listen to hearts: “Dub-dub! Your teddy’s heart sounds strong!” (Use toy stethoscope).
Bandage ‘boo-boos’: “Oh no, Bunny scraped her paw! Can you fix it?”
Give ‘shots’: Use a toy syringe to “vaccinate” dolls – “Phew! All done!”
Step 3: Teach Comfort Phrases:
