Play Bakery Station:

  • Mini aprons/chef hats (DIY: paper hats + fabric scraps)
  • Toy kitchen tools (rolling pins, cookie cutters, mixing bowls)

Sensory Ingredients:

  • Real dough: Edible salt dough (flour, salt, water) for shaping “pretzels” or “cookies.”
  • Toppings: Safe oats, raisins, cinnamon sticks for scent, colorful sprinkles.

Decor:

  • Hang your Pearly Minds chef-themed posters.
  • Label stations: “Dough Design,” “Topping Tower,” “Bakery Box.”

Activity Flow:

1. Welcome Song:

“Stir the bowl, round and round… Little chefs, stand your ground!”

2. Hands-On Baking:

  • Knead & Shape: Kids squish dough, cut shapes (hearts, stars).
  • Sensory Toppings: Press oats/raisins into dough – “Crunchy or chewy?”
  • Box Decorating: Decorate paper “bakery boxes” with stickers/markers.
